Kew Construction is a family-run business based in Bootle that renovates bathrooms and en-suites across Liverpool and Merseyside. Ariel leads every job himself, from strip-out, plumbing and re-boarding to tiling and finishing, so you are not juggling separate trades or waiting for one to finish before the next turns up. Every quote follows a free visit and is written and itemised, so you can see exactly what you are paying for.

What a full bathroom renovation includes
- Strip-out of the old suite, tiles and boards, with waste taken away
- First-fix plumbing: moving or renewing pipework, wastes and the soil connection where the layout changes
- Tile backer boards and proper tanking in the wet zones, not plasterboard behind a shower
- Wall and floor tiling, including large-format, metro, patterned and herringbone layouts
- Showers, baths, basins, toilets, concealed cisterns and vanity units fitted and sealed
- Electric underfloor heating, extractor fans and bathroom-zone lighting, with electrical work certified by a registered electrician
- Finishing: silicone, trims, accessories and a clean handover
Not sure which layout works? Our guides on minimum bathroom dimensions and making a small bathroom feel bigger cover the most common questions we get on site visits.
How a bathroom renovation with us works
- 1. Free visit. We measure up, check what is behind the walls where we can, and talk through the layout, the shower type your boiler can support and your budget.
- 2. Written, itemised quote. Labour, materials and any likely extras are listed separately, so there are no surprises once the old tiles come off.
- 3. Booking and supply. You can choose your own suite and tiles or we can supply them; we agree the order before day one so the job never stalls.
- 4. The work. A typical full bathroom takes one to two weeks depending on size and changes to the layout. We keep the site clean and tell you each day what is happening next.
- 5. Handover. We walk you through everything, leave the certificates and clean up.
What does a bathroom renovation cost in Liverpool?
Every bathroom is different, which is why we price after a visit. For realistic figures, see our full bathroom renovation cost breakdown, the tiling cost per square metre guide and what a bathroom and en-suite cost together. The biggest price drivers are moving the toilet or soil pipe, the amount of tiling, the shower type and whether the floor needs work.
En-suites, small bathrooms and landlord refits
We also fit en-suites (including loft en-suites with pumped waste), small and narrow bathrooms, and durable landlord refurbishments built to a controlled budget. If you want a level-access shower, see our wet room installation service.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
Most full bathroom renovations take one to two weeks. Moving the toilet or soil pipe, levelling the floor or adding underfloor heating can add a few days; we give you a schedule with the quote.
Do you supply the bathroom suite and tiles?
Either way works. You can buy your own suite and tiles, or we can supply them. We agree who orders what, and when, before the start date so nothing holds the job up.
Is the electrical work certified?
Yes. Bathroom electrics such as lighting, fans, shaver points and underfloor heating are carried out or signed off by a registered electrician, and you receive the certificate.
Which areas do you cover?
We are based in Bootle and cover Liverpool, Crosby, Formby, Maghull, Aintree and the Wirral, with a focus on North Liverpool and Sefton.
Do you charge for a quote?
No. The visit and the written, itemised quote are free.
